Alan Shaw owner of Shaw Pens is a custom pen artisan. I have been collecting Fountain Pens since I was in 3rd grade when I received my Shaffer School writer. Since 1962 my interest grew from one of curiosity to one of passion.
My collection grew from one fountain pen to a collection of many hundreds of pens. I sold my collection in 2001 when my profession (software engineering) was outsourced overseas. In 2002 my interest in pens grew again but this time I spent 4 years of learning the craft of pen making.
Shaw Pens has been creating fine writing instruments professionally since 2006. Each pen is machined by hand as a result, no two pens are identical. Only the finest materials are used for your writing pleasure. Alan is proud to announce in 2019 he was awarded Master Artisan Status from the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen.

Shaw Pens can make corporate gifts for your employees, customers or for just yourself. We can put your corporate logo on most of our pens. Pricing will be dependent on quantity of order.
