The Lunar Writer is a moon themed twist pen. The clip contains the various phases of the moon as seen from earth.

The finial contains the image of the moon as seen through a telescope. the upper portion of the pen and the tip features a star field in the black vastness of space. The center band and tip trim contain measurement markings that you would find on a telescope.

The refill type is a Parker Style refill a Schmidt Easy Flow 9000 is included with the pen.
